Lego Battle Spinners

The boys love to make up games. One of their favorite ones that they have invented is Lego Battle Spinners.

They build geometrical spinners out of Legos. Then they spin them like tops and try to determine which one will spin the longest without getting destroyed by another spinner or by falling off the desk.

I'm amazed at how different each spinner is and the amount of detail spent on each one. Here are a few from the latest battle match.

It's mesmerizing to watch them spin. This game gets really competitive and can last for hours. It usually invovles lots of laughing and a few of the following exclamations:

"Aw, man! Did you see that?"
"Whoa! Your spinner just ripped my spinner's arm off!"
"Look at that one go! AAAAHHHHH! Its going to fall off the table!"

That silver thing...

Luke: Hey, Mom?
Me: Yes?
Luke: You know Micah's brother? The one that's bigger than him?
Me: Joel?
Luke: Yes. Do you know what that silver thing in his mouth is?
Me: What?
Luke: That's his bracelet. It keeps his teeth from falling apart. Umm Hmm. He told me that.

4 months old!

Now that Eli is 5 1/2 months old, I thought it was about time to share some of the pictures we took of him when he was 4 months old. Enjoy!

A visit with Nana!

Nana came to visit!

(Those boys' momma should've made them brush their hair.)

She brought an awesome chocolate cake in honor of my and Seth's birthdays.

"Ni Hao! I am little blonde Chinese man!"

Luke, go wash your face.

"Okay."

"Aw, man. It didn't work."

"That's okay. I'll make this face and talk with a German accent until you laugh so hard that you wet your pants."

Wet pants indeed! This funny little man keeps us laughing.

"Thank you, Thank you. I'll be here all week."

Happy Birthday, Seth!

I can't believe my little boy is 8 years old! He's not so little, though. He comes up to my chin!

Here's his cake!
