Eli's First Haircut

While we were at Disney, we took Eli to get his hair cut on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom.

She's going to do WHAT?

I object!

He did just fine once Beverlene got started.

She covered his shirt with Mickey stickers, and she was finished with his hair before he knew it!

Then she gave him a Mickey Ears hat that says "first haircut" on the back of it. This picture was taken about three seconds before he ripped the hat off and declared that his trip to the barber shop was finished!

Big Brothers are Great!

I was making lunch when Eli woke up from his nap. He cried for about 3 minutes and then stopped. I thought maybe he'd gone back to sleep, so when I finished making lunch, I went up to check on him. This is what I found:

10 months old!

Eli has been cruising and pulling up for a while. For his newest trick, he will walk if you hold one of his hands. He's even taken a few steps by himself! He is lots of fun. He's super cute, too!

Luke wanted me to take his picture by a palm tree in Myrtle Beach.

"Take another one, Mommy!"

"Hey, look! A roly poly!"

Since Luke's photo shoot went so well, I decided to try my luck with Seth.

Seth, go stand by the tree.

"I am the great ninja warrior!"

Seth, stop doing that and smile so I can take your picture.

Not like that, goofball. Give me a non-fake smile.

"How's this?"

"Cheese!"

I had just finished feeding mashed banana to Eli, when I had to run back into the kitchen to grab a paper towel. Eli started fussing when I left the dining room, so Luke jumped in to help.

"Here you go , Eli. Is it yummy? Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum... That's a good banana."

"Ughh. Eli, don't spit it out. Eat it."

"Mommy, Eli won't eat it. I think he's finished."

Happy Birthday, Luke!

We made a Luke a Death Star cake for his birthday.

He was speechless for quite a while.

I think he liked it.

He opened a few presents. This one was from Seth. It was the blue lego ninja he's been wanting.

"Yay! Thank you, Sef!"
